Located in Bristol, The Ashton is a lovely country pub and restaurant that offers the perfect destination to tuck into a great selection of food, as well as a fantastic collection of wines, lagers, and real ales.

With its picturesque village setting and expansive menu choice incorporating lots of starters, light bites, mains, devilish desserts, and sharing platters, there are a wide range of dishes to choose from, designed to accommodate all tastes and appetites.

Boasting lots of stylish corners, comfortable seating, and endearing interiors, The Ashton is a great family friendly pub that is sure to be an instant hit with everyone - even your little ones who will love our dedicated children’s menu.

Situated in Long Ashton, just outside of the centre of Bristol, The Ashton is easily accessible.

The village is within comfortable walking distance from the centre of the city and there are also a number of bus routes running regular services in and around the area.

If you’re travelling by car from outside Bristol, the easiest route to Long Ashton is from the M5, avoiding the city centre – leave the motorway at Junction 19 and follow the A369 towards Bristol.

Keeping Busy in Bristol

Located in Long Ashton, The Ashton is surrounded by stunning countryside whilst still offering great access to the bustling city of Bristol.

There are plenty of open spaces and natural attractions in the area. A footpath close to the pub leads to the picturesque Ashton Court Estate with its scenic landscaped grounds and impressive views over Bristol. Dawsons Walk is another popular green open space. Developed into a circular woodland and countryside walk, this spot is a favourite amongst the people of Long Ashton and visitors alike.

Just a stone’s throw from the vibrant centre of Bristol, there are a whole host of things to see and do close by including some of the city’s most iconic attractions including the Clifton Suspension Bridge, Brunel’s SS Great Britain, the Bristol Balloon Fiesta, and, of course, Banksy street art tours that will allow you to see some of the famous artist’s most iconic pieces first hand.

There are also plenty of walking tours in and around the city, allowing you to explore the history, culture, and art of Bristol as you go. As the UK’s first cycling city, there are also plenty of cycle paths and trails to explore on two wheels. Or why not explore the city from a different perspective by taking a boat trip along the river.
